5 of the 6 Puppies were born late on February 8, 2024. Only “Orange” - a female - was born in the early hours of February 9. Ziggy was a great mother right from the start, looking after all puppies right away.

Not surprisingly the 2 girls were a little smaller than their brothers at birth. However all pups were about the same size - just under or over the 1lb mark. We weight them twice a day to ensure they are growing well… and they are!

It can be hard to know each little “potatoe” at first, so each is marked with their own colour right away: Black (female), Green, Red, Blue and Purple (all males) and Orange (female). 4 of the pups are a darker shade and will be redder like their mom. Two are a bit lighter with Purple being the very lightest.
